Basketball for 2009 will be starting on the 22nd March at a new venue - Emerton Leisure Centre, 35 Jersey Rd, Emerton. Each session will run from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. You must be a SSPA member to play and it will cost $5.00 per person per session. All are welcome, players must be 12 yrs and older and must be short statured. Spectators are welcomed.
Future dates are 5/4, 19/4, 3/5, 17/5, 31/5 and will all be at the Emerton Leisure Centre at the same time.

Unfortunately due to poor weather the picnic has been postponed. We'll be rescheduling it for another date soon which will be posted here when decided.
Our Easter Picnic will be held on April 4 2009 at Bobbin Head National Park starting at 12pm. Please bring a picnic lunch. Games will be organised for the children and there will also be an Easter Egg hunt. We are having a trivia night on Saturday 16th May 2009. It is being held at Parramatta Workers Club, 163 George Parramatta, starting at 6 pm. We are raising funds to assist players to attend the World Dwarf Games held in Belfast, Ireland as well as this years Convention held in Victoria.
Entry fee will be $15.00 per adult, $10.00 per high school student, $5.00 per primary school student which also includes nibblies. For the night we need to find prizes for the different games we will be running so any contributions for prizes will be gratefully appreciated or alternatively if you have any contacts we could approach please pass them on. We need to do this as soon as possible, so your quick response will be most helpful.

| Some members of the NSW Branch will be part of the first Australia team to attend World Dwarf Games this July in Belfast, North Ireland. We will be having a few fundraisers throughout this year to help the team so please give your full support to these fundraisers wherever possible. |
